One of a series of acrylics devoted to my feelings about Palm Springs: feelings that are mixed, cartoonish, and devout. Formally, the approach is predicated on a contemplation of "Baptism", by Gabriel Arthus (from the Haitian art collection of Donald R. Garrabrant), which has been a constant goad to my sensibilities.
